Most salons soak and file gel off at every visit. That removal is what thins the nail. At Kirei House we do not remove it. An e-file takes the old colour down to a thin layer of base coat, which stays on to protect the natural nail, and a fresh Japanese gel is built over it. The nail underneath is never exposed, so it keeps getting stronger.
This is the Perfect Fillin method. It is slower, it takes training, and it is why our technicians are certified in it before they take a client. Clients come back every three to four weeks on a schedule, not when something breaks.

Prices are for a single colour. Nail art is added at the chair and priced by design. Gel removal is a separate step, so please select it when you book.
Japanese Gel Fill-In
The service most of our clients book every four weeks. Old gel is taken down to a thin base layer and rebuilt, never removed, so nails get stronger over time. With cat eye or chrome: $145.

What is Japanese gel, and how is it different?
Japanese gel is thinner and more flexible than most Western gels and is applied in several light layers rather than one thick coat. It moves with the nail instead of cracking, which is why it lasts longer and lifts less.
How often should I come back?
Every three to four weeks for a fill-in. With Perfect Fillin you do not need removal between visits.
Do you remove gel from other salons?
Yes. It takes extra time, so there is a fee of $20 for soft gel and $35 for hard gel, powder or extensions. Select the removal option when you book so we can allow for it.

What is your cancellation policy?
A card holds your appointment. Changes made more than 24 hours ahead are free; within 24 hours, or a no-show, the full service is charged. We hold a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.

Fresh & Disposable:
For your peace of mind, all nail files, buffers, and gloves are used once per client and replaced with brand-new ones for every visit.

Our workstations and surfaces are meticulously disinfected between clients using EPA-approved sanitizers, so you can relax in a perfectly clean environment.
